Bandai Namco has announced a few Jump Force New Characters that will be coming to the popular crossover fighting game Jump Force this Spring. These characters will be added as DLC and can be bought separately or with the season pass.
Jump Force is a 1-v-1 fighting game where players control a team of three characters drawn from various manga series featured in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Combat is similar to previous Jump games, such as J-Stars Victory VS, Dragon Ball Xenoverse sub-series, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm and One Piece: Burning Blood.
Shoto Todoroki
Jump Force New Characters is a crossover fighting game that brings characters from manga series such as One Piece, My Hero Academia, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter x Hunter to the world of video games. The game is released for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Bandai Namco is adding a number of new fighters to Jump Force as DLC, and the first one to hit the scene is My Hero Academia’s Shoto Todoroki. Todoroki’s quirk/superpower enables him to create ice and fire from his body, which can be used to stun enemies or inflict a variety of damage.
Most Flexible Fighters in Jump Force
He is also one of the most flexible fighters in Jump Force New Characters, thanks to his impressive moveset. In particular, he has moves such as “Ice Stalagmite,” which sends a blast of ice tumbling towards the enemy, and “Heaven-Piercing Ice Wall,” which can be used to shoot out a trial of ice from a distance.
Powerful & Incredibly Versatile Awakening Move
Additionally, Todoroki has a powerful and incredibly versatile Awakening Move called “Kamehameha.” It can be used to chain into combos and is also able to stun opponents, making it a valuable weapon in any fight.
As for the rest of his moveset, Todoroki has a good mix of powerhouses and gimmicks. He has a few powerful punches, such as “Runaway” that can stun an opponent for a short period of time and “Dancing Flame,” which shoots out a beam of fire that is reminiscent of the Kamehameha.
My Hero Academia Uniform
In addition to the character he is playing in Jump Force New Characters, Todoroki also wears a special hero costume that resembles his original My Hero Academia uniform. His costume is a white shirt with dark blue pants and boots that have silver detailing. He also has a brown utility belt that contains medical supplies.
Overall, Todoroki is a fun and accessible fighter that can make an excellent addition to any team. He can be easily fought at a close range, and his combination of powerful punches and a flexible moveset makes him a formidable opponent.
Other than Todoroki, the other new fighters to appear in Jump Force include Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach, Rukia Kuchiki and Sosuke Aizen. All three of these characters have melee and magic-based attack styles, which are a great fit for the Jump Force roster.
Yoruichi Shihoin
Yoruichi Shihoin is the next DLC fighter from Bleach, and she’s now available in Jump Force. Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for her, showing off more of her moves in action.
Yoruichi is a talented high-speed Soul Reaper (Shun Bu, shunpo). She also possesses the ability to shapeshift into a black cat at will, which allows her to move more freely. She’s also very good at flash release (Shun Hong, shunko), a hand-to-hand combat technique that concentrates kido energy around her body. She can also use a variation of flash step called utsusemi, which creates such a sudden burst of speed that it leaves an after-image behind.
Front of Ichigo
She’s also quite quick and aggressive when she attacks, especially when her instincts are activated. For example, when she first transforms into her human form in front of Ichigo, she instantly attacks him to incapacitate him and get him to transport her back to their hideout.
Despite her strength and aggressiveness, Yoruichi has learned to temper her aggressiveness as she gets older. She tries to avoid confrontations with other people as much as possible, preferring instead to focus on her own actions and reactions in the moment.
Her Ni is very low, which means that she tends to rely on her instincts more than she plans them out. However, this doesn’t mean that she’s indecisive.
Leader of the Stealth Forces
As the leader of the stealth forces, she is very skilled at using her powers and abilities to protect her enemies from harm. During one of her short battles with Byakuya, she uses a technique that combines flash steps and utsusemi, which allows her to form an image of herself that can be sliced by Byakuya but appear unharmed a split second later.
Yoruichi’s moves in Jump Force are similar to those she’s shown in the manga, and it’s likely that her Ultimate Move will be her Shunshin Chohengen transformation. Her yellow electricity-like power can be seen in the trailer during her cinematic attack, and it looks like she’s going to have a lot of moves that make use of that power.
Giorno Giovanna
Giorno Giovanna is one of the three Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure characters that have been announced to be jumping force new characters for Jump Force. Bandai Namco is currently not revealing his moveset or release date at this time.
Giorno was created by Hirohiko Araki and he appeared in the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Vento Aureo anime, as well as the game Eyes of Heaven. His story revolves around the gangster’s life in Italy and his relationship with other members of the mob.
He has a father named Dio Brando who is a former Mafia boss and his mother has a maiden name of Shiobana. She was not very kind to Giorno growing up and he had a difficult time forming relationships with people in his new home.
As he became older, he gained the abilities of Gold Experience which allowed him to heal himself and become strong. He could transform any non-living object into bodily material such as blood, flesh or bones to help him recover from injuries.
In addition to his ability to heal himself, he can also create butterflies that will fly back to him. This is an ability that he uses to help him stealthily get what he wants from his enemies.
Blood & Flesh
The other main use for this ability is to give Giorno the ability to replace parts of his body with bodily material, including blood and flesh. This allows him to heal himself from injuries and prevents him from getting hurt again.
Advantage of the Requiem Stand
It’s also possible to use this ability on his opponents and send them into a death loop that is very similar to Diavolo’s. This is a great way to take advantage of the Requiem Stand and make it extremely hard for your enemies to kill you.
Giorno is one of the best characters in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure as he is not only a good fighter but also has an interesting background that makes him unique from other Joestars. He is a descendant of DIO Brando as well as Jonathan Joestar and has an interesting combination of both.
He is a great character to have as a new DLC character and he will be one of the most powerful Jump Force characters. He will be available as a downloadable character in the Spring 2021 update, so don’t miss out on his awesome fighting style.
Yu Yu Hakusho
Yoshihiro Tagashio’s 1990 manga Yu Yu Hakusho was one of the foundations of Shonen (anime for boys) manga, alongside Dragon Ball Z and One Piece. It has sold more than 49 million copies in Japan, and it won the prestigious Shogakukan Manga Award for shonen manga in 1993.
YYH’s protagonist Yusuke Urameshi is a street kid with extreme fighting skills who turns into a Spirit Detective, a special official in charge of battling demons that pose a threat to the world. The series features a strong moral thread that encourages us to question people’s true intentions and the grey areas of human behavior.

As a result, YYH is more realistic than some other Shonen titles that tend to be more about fights and explosions than character development. The series is also more grounded, with Yusuke displaying more common human traits than some other characters in the genre, making him easier to root for and more relatable.
In Jump Force, you can play as the most famous Manga heroes from DRAGON BALL Z, ONE PIECE, NARUTO, BLEACH, HUNTER X HUNTER, SAINT SEIYA and more, in a story that sees them all thrown into the same battleground as our own world under mysterious circumstances. You’ll fight alongside them in a variety of different ways, from original story modes to online lobby fights.
